Work Schedule :
Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week as indicated by your manager. Your hiring manager will discuss this role's specific work requirements with you during the hiring process. All work requirements are subject to change at any time based on leader discretion and/or business need.

The Work Itself As part of our Internship Program, you will have an opportunity to:

Have hands on experience and project-based work Attend Orientation, Executive Speaking Series, and learning sessions as an Intern cohort

Participate in Mentoring Program and Giving Back Events Network with your peers, your team, and those Allys you find interesting

Lead an end of assignment presentation

The Details:

Internship Program Timing:
May 21 – July 31, 2027 (tentative)40 hours each week with a mix of in-office and remote working days Project-based work Market competitive hourly compensation and a sign-on bonus, as well as financial housing assistance for those who qualify

Successful interns will have the opportunity to return to Ally in an Early Talent Program or full-time role, or to a second internship, depending upon graduation timing.

The Work Itself Consumer Banking:

Consumer Banking is all about the customer. As a summer intern within the Customer Care & Operations organization at Ally, you will play a key role in one of the bank’s core values: building trust with our customers.

Intern Key Experiences:

Support the Deposit and Invest Customer Care leadership team by analyzing operational performance, identifying process improvement opportunities, and assisting with initiatives that improve the customer and employee experience. Real-world experience working on a pivotal initiative with measurable business value.

Exposure to operations, digital strategy, and customer experience compose in a leading digital bank with opportunities to develop problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder leadership skills.
