We’re looking for a Conference Associate who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can confidently manage multiple priorities, from event coordination and program development to stakeholder communications and leadership support. Are you up for the challenge?
As Conference Associate, you’ll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of event production from planning to program management and communications, leadership support, and networking at social functions. You’ll also need to have efficacious interpersonal skills, as you’ll be working closely with account leads, clients and their stakeholders, and outdoor vendors who support the management service.
The team is looking for someone with excellent written and spoken communication skills, who has the capacity to multitask to address multiple simultaneous demands, and the ability to think strategically and deliver tactically. You’ll also need to have strict attention-to-detail and a strong aptitude for technology. Those with stellar interpersonal skills, a demonstrated creative initiative-taker, and the ability to travel 3-4 times a year (nationally and internationally) to attend client meetings will be especially competitive.
When you first start here, you’ll enjoy a full work week in our client’s Portland office. After your training period, you’ll have an optional work-from-home day once a week.
Your New OrganizationThis opportunity is with a growing professional services organization that partners with mission-driven clients to provide full-service conference management. They offer a supportive environment where team members can make meaningful impacts, are encouraged to bring forward innovative ideas, and are supported through a culture focused on professional growth.
Benefits include a wellness allowance to support health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) with employer match, a transportation stipend, PTO, a telephone stipend, and paid self-care days.
Our goal is to pair talented people with amazing job opportunities.
