The Google Cloud Merchant Association is responsible for all extended workforce needs across Google Cloud. As Head of Vendor Operations, you will lead vendor operations that support Google Cloud’s Help, Learning, Blueprints, and Coordinators teams.

• Develop and execute vendor strategy and operating frameworks.
• Own and drive vendor relationships, ensuring they deliver exceptional partnership value.
• Collaborate with internal teams to translate vendor needs into actionable plans.
• Manage the vendor environment to support rapid business transformations.
• Architect performance metrics to align with business goals and vendor incentive programs.
• Maintain budget oversight and ensure spend stays within 5% variance.
• Coordinate cross‑functional collaboration and drive timely reporting.
• Identify and mitigate risks in vendor initiatives.
• Convey key performance indicators and adapt vendor programs to evolving business needs.
• Build events and drive engagement across formal and informal forums.

• 2 years of experience managing vendor programs across multiple suppliers.
• Experience leading end‑to‑end vendor operations.
• Proficiency in driving compliance in a hyperscale cloud environment.
• Strong verbal, written communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into vendor strategies.
• Capability to create and manage events driving organizational alignment.

• Advanced degree in Business/Leadership or related field.
• Previous experience developing vendor programs for large, hybrid, and growth projects.
• Experience with stakeholder management and vendor impact assessment.
