In a multi-brand ecosystem spanning 9 Mobility brands and 8 Home brands, a one-size-fits-all Go-To-Market approach is no longer enough. Segmentation is the growth engine of our business. It is the strategic lens that transforms vast data into surgical execution, ensuring we deliver the right proposition, through the right channel, at the right moment in a consumer's lifestage.

As the Segmentation Lead, you will own the lifestage segmentation and new segments strategy for the Verizon Consumer Group (VCG) portfolio. You won't just analyze segments-you will define how we win in the market, shape consumer perception, and scale sustainable revenue for years to come. By moving beyond traditional demographics into deep lifestage dynamics, you directly drive customer acquisition, lower churn, and maximize lifetime value (LTV) across our entire portfolio.

• Lifestage segmentation:
  Develop lifestage segmentation strategy to protect and grow customer relationships
• Execution roadmap:
  Build VCG capabilities & execution roadmap to grow revenue with new and existing customers (e.g., product expansion, journey management, base & prospect understanding)
• New Segment Acquisition:
  Lead the complete lifecycle of consumer expansion-from opportunity mapping and sizing to cross-functional execution
• Data Analysis & Executive Reporting:
  Synthesize complex performance data and market insights into clear, actionable reporting, draft presentation decks, and provide analysis for leadership review
• Cross-Functional Leadership:
  Coordinate directly with counterparts across business units and functions (e.g., Mobility, Home, Value, Insights) to manage day-to-day project milestones

This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Six or more years of relevant experience in strategy, consulting, brand management, or similar
• Experience analyzing complex data sets and leveraging advanced analytics to drive actions and outcomes
• Experience researching market/industry trends, and the ability to find opportunities for Verizon's growth based on this research
• A collaborative approach to problem-solving and the ability to bring others along as you develop your data analyses and supporting arguments
• Experience working in a large, dynamic, complex organization, where developing strong interpersonal relationships and leading through influence are keys to success
• Ability to travel as needed for business-critical meetings
