You are:

• Passionate about supporting asset owners to improve sustainability and human rights practices through research, education, and effective governance tools.
• A skilled analyst, adept at defining problems and understanding need in order to design practical research tools.
• A skilled communicator, able to break down complex and technical subject matter for a variety of audiences, through presentations, formal memos and briefing notes, and general audience formats such as blog posts and newsletters.

Please note that SHARE operates in a hybrid workplace, with employees required in office approximately 2 days each week. This position is open to applicants in either the Vancouver or Toronto area.

Reporting to the Associate Director Advisory Services, the Responsible Investment Advisor plays a key role in preparing research and implementation support to institutional investors seeking to integrate ESG into their responsible investment policies or practices. The Advisor will be tasked to translate complex information into practical recommendations for asset owner decision-makers including pension trustees, foundation/endowment board members, and/or fund staff to help them advance their responsible investment strategies.

The role involves conducting clear, timely, and insightful research and analysis on emerging ESG issues or peer practices to support our lead advisors in their work with SHARE’s Advisory Services clients. The Advisor will prepare client-facing reports, presentations, strategies, and other deliverables that communicate technical investment and sustainability concepts to diverse audiences.
