Store Operations Engineering Co-op

• Drive efficient and profitable sales while providing a great customer experience through store engineering
• Analyze operational store layout, process methods, merchandise delivery, register and dressing-room quantities, and equipment types and quantities
• Partner with Store Management, Field Executive teams, and Home Office business partners
• Identify, analyze, and recommend improvement opportunities within the off-price model
• Support creation and maintenance of engineered labor standards driving store payroll
• Identify business opportunities and trends
• Select stores for tests and initiatives and evaluate program success using statistical tools and other techniques
• Work with Property Development and Field Teams
• Analyze business aspects, draw conclusions, and make recommendations based on metrics

• Currently pursuing a B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering
• MS Office Suite with strong MS Excel skills
• Highly motivated self-starter
• Ability to prioritize effectively
• Proactive and flexible with a strong bias for action
• Excellent interpersonal skills and professional attitude
• Ability to interact with all levels of the organization
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple and concurrent priorities
• Ability to independently generate ideas and process improvements and clearly articulate them to the team

• Proven leadership abilities and strong work ethic
• Previous employment in retail is a strong plus

Demonstrates strong analytical skills in operational processes and store layout optimization, with a focus on improving customer experience and driving sales efficiency. Proficient in using statistical tools for evaluating business opportunities and trends.
