Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week as indicated by your manager. The Ally Internship Program guides and mentors students with development opportunities and experiences that support your career interests while also driving the business forward. Internship Program Timing:
May 21 - July 31, 2027 (tentative)

40 hours each week with a mix of in-office and remote working days

Project-based work

Market driven hourly compensation and a sign-on bonus, as well as financial housing assistance for those who qualify

Successful interns will have the opportunity to return to Ally in an Early Talent Program or full-time role, or to a second internship, depending upon graduation timing.

Consumer Banking is all about the customer. As a summer intern within the Payments organization at Ally, you will play a key role in one of Ally's core capabilities, money movement.

• Hands-on exposure to payment systems and rails, including how money moves across the ecosystem and the operational considerations that support successful payment experiences.
• Real-world experience supporting product development from strategy through execution, including research, planning, and delivery of customer-focused improvements.
• Opportunities to build analytical, communication, and presentation skills through work on business cases, product insights, and cross-functional initiatives.
