Make An Impact:
This role will report to the Manager of Category Strategy, synthesizing data from both internal and external sources to research, compile, and analyze information on competitors, products and market conditions. This information will be used to identify potential new markets, sales opportunities and the most effective methods of positioning Fossil Group's portfolio of Brands and Products.
Top candidates will exhibit strong analytical and critical thinking skills, a thorough attention to detail, and the ability to recognize patterns and provide purposeful and accurate insight into market behavior and competitors' strategies.
What you will do in this role:Serve as a key member of the Merchandise Planning & Assortment Strategy group with continuous input into Category goals, objectives, and strategies
Synthesize information across a variety of sources to drive meaningful insights and make actionable recommendations
Collect and analyze data on market conditions and competitors, such as base price, sales trend, product assortment, distribution methodology
Understand internal product sales trends within a category, drill down to identify problems and opportunities
Analyze results to identify ways of maximizing sales and market penetration of current brands and products
Convert findings and complex data into user-friendly tables, written reports and graphs for key stakeholders and business partners
Work collaboratively across various internal organizations to help secure commitment for identified category efforts
Create high-quality presentations / deliverables for internal and external audience

-4 years' combined industry experienceBachelor's degree required
Experience in the consumer and retail industries
Big-picture thinker with exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to network and develop strong relationships with multiple cross functional teams
Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint, Google Suite of Products
Strong financial acumen
Excellent communication (verbal and written), influencing, and diplomacy skills
Self-starter who is results driven and action oriented
