Our Newest Opportunity:
The Billing Specialist is responsible for managing and executing billing processes for Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance agency accounts within a centralized billing structure. This role ensures accurate invoicing and resolution of billing discrepancies while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Generate and process invoices for agency-billed P&C policies in accordance with established timelines. Validate premium amounts, endorsements, and adjustments before issuing bills. Ensure billing accuracy by reviewing broker invoices and carrier binders/quotes, checking policy screen set up (commission, payable entity, producer commission) before transacting
- Serve as the primary point of contact for agency billing inquiries with local office service teams. Work with local service teams on premium finance questions and clarification as necessary. Assist agencies with understanding centralized billing processes and system navigation.
- Identify opportunities to streamline billing workflows and enhance efficiency. Participate in system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new billing tools.

- Proficiency in billing/accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.

- Experience:
2+ years in insurance billing, accounting, or related financial operations; P&C insurance experience is strongly preferred.
The typical base pay range for this role nationwide is $60,000 to $65,000 per year. Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location.
In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance.
