Regulatory Affairs & Compliance Chemist - Cosmetics

Snowberry.kr is seeking an experienced
Regulatory Affairs & Compliance Chemist with strong hands-on knowledge of cosmetic formulation, manufacturing, product documentation, labeling and international cosmetic regulations that covers
US / Canada / EU / UK.

This is not simply a filing or paperwork position. The successful candidate must understand how cosmetics are actually formulated and manufactured, be able to identify missing or weak technical documentation, and have the confidence to stop non-compliant products or practices from proceeding.

• Review cosmetic formulas for compliance in the
  USA, Canada, European Union and United Kingdom
• Review ingredients, concentrations, restrictions, prohibitions and conditions of use
• Maintain complete regulatory files and supporting technical documentation for every product
• Identify missing documentation and actively obtain or create the required records before product release
• Review product labels, INCI declarations, warnings, directions, claims and mandatory statements
• Verify that marketing and product claims are properly supported
• Review formula changes, ingredient substitutions and manufacturing changes before implementation
• Ensure approved formulas and specifications match what is actually manufactured
• Review manufacturing records, specifications, certificates and supporting supplier documentation
• Support or maintain required market notifications, registrations and product files
• Maintain accurate version control and regulatory approval records
• Investigate regulatory gaps, deviations and historical compliance issues
• Develop corrective actions where existing products or processes do not meet requirements
• Keep the company current with regulatory changes in all four markets

• No product proceeds to market with unresolved regulatory deficiencies
• Complete and current regulatory files for every active product
• Formula, label and manufacturing records remain aligned
• Regulatory changes are identified before they become business problems
• Missing historical documentation is systematically corrected
• All approvals are supported by evidence and clearly documented
