Job Summary:
Vanderbilt University Medical Center is seeking an experienced technology leader to guide the strategy, growth, and operational success of enterprise CRM and engagement platforms that support patients, consumers, clinicians, researchers, and administrative partners across Vanderbilt Health. This role is responsible for the vision, roadmap, governance, delivery, and value realization of CRM, customer and patient data, digital engagement, and related integration capabilities.
Opportunity
As Senior Director, you will lead a portfolio of enterprise platforms and services that help Vanderbilt Health deliver connected, data-informed, and measurable customer and patient experiences. You will partner with leaders across clinical, operational, academic, research, and administrative areas to align technology investments with organizational priorities and drive long-term value from CRM and engagement capabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Define and execute the enterprise strategy and multi-year roadmap for CRM and engagement platforms.
- Lead product, platform, and portfolio management activities, including prioritization, investment planning, and value realization.
- Oversee large-scale initiatives involving CRM, customer and patient data, digital engagement, and enterprise integrations.
- Establish governance, operational standards, and performance measures that promote reliability, adoption, and continuous improvement.
- Lead and develop multidisciplinary teams while fostering accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
- Manage strategic vendor relationships, contracts, and technology investments.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Ten years of relevant experience leading enterprise technology teams, portfolios, or platforms.
- Experience leading complex technology initiatives and partnering with senior business and technology stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success in CRM, digital engagement, enterprise platforms, product management, governance, vendor management, and financial stewardship.
- Healthcare, academic medical center, or similarly complex regulated industry experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce, customer data platforms, digital engagement technologies, or related enterprise platforms.

Work ArrangementThis position is primarily remote. Occasional travel to Nashville and other Vanderbilt Health locations may be required based on business needs.
