Operations Management
Own the client. Run the team. Deliver AI that works in production.
Who We Are
Our engagements run inside our clients’ core revenue systems, with CEO and CFO level visibility on both sides. When we deliver, the client’s business moves. When we are late, unclear, or wrong about status, executives notice the same day. This seat exists because that environment demands an owner, not a coordinator.
Your portfolio has two shapes, and you run both from day one, hands-on. The flagship program is a multi-workstream AI and integration portfolio inside a client’s core revenue systems, with executive visibility up to the CEO. It staffs a dedicated project manager whom you direct and develop; the account, the executive relationship, the outcomes, and the economics stay yours. The rest of the book is smaller and mid-size engagements where you are the delivery leadership yourself, flexing between program manager, scrum lead, and client advisor as each one needs, several in parallel, at full quality, without being told which one needs you today.
Nothing is beneath this seat: if the status is stale you fix it, if the deck is weak you rewrite it, if a blocker sat overnight you are the one who unsticks it.
Across the whole book you are the client partner of record. You own satisfaction, escalations, renewals, and expansion, and you grow accounts the only legitimate way a delivery leader can: by delivering so well that clients buy more. There is no sales quota in this seat; account executives close. You surface the openings, shape the next SOW while the current one delivers, and lead distributed teams across US and offshore time zones on engagements whose deliverables are AI agents running in production.
This role suits people who move fast on blockers and verify before they report, if that’s not your instinct yet, this may not be the right fit today.
The Operating Standard
This is the bar the role is held to from week one.
- You run the meeting. Clients never chase us and never lead our calls. Agenda, pre-work, and the decision needed are prepared before the meeting, not discovered during it. Only people with active responsibilities attend.
- Status is true. Every status you report is one a CFO can act on. Green means verified. Orange means you are asking for specific help. Red travels fastest of all. We treat an inaccurate status as a bigger failure than a slipped date.
- Nothing waits a day. Client questions get an answer, or an owner and a time, within hours. You design cross-time-zone handoffs so the client wakes up to progress, not silence.
- Done means verified. A ticket closes when the business outcome is confirmed working end to end and the result is communicated, not when the task is marked complete.
- Incidents are commanded. You distinguish a production incident from an enhancement in minutes, respond by priority with an ETA and a communication plan, run the post-mortem, and put monitoring in place so the client never finds an issue before we do.
- The cadence is visible. Sprint schedule, story points, and timelines the client’s own leadership can repeat without calling us. Nobody should have to ask when something lands.
- Momentum is yours. User stories exist before anyone asks. Boards are current. Blockers are named the day they appear, with what you need to clear them. If you wait to be assigned, this is not your role.
The Operator Profile
The standard describes the work. This describes you.
- You operate at Level 5. The five levels of initiative: wait to be told, ask what to do, recommend and wait, act and report immediately, act and report as routine. We’re looking for someone who operates at that level. You see the issue, you fix the issue, and you tell everyone what you fixed and how, so the whole team gets faster.
