Created as an introductory rotational internship opportunity, the Insure Your Future program offers interns hands-on experience across key areas of the insurance life cycle, including Customer Experience, Claims, Underwriting, and Finance, helping you build foundational industry knowledge. To thrive in this role, you'll collaborate with leaders, team members, and stakeholders to gain insight into the day-to-day workings of careers in the insurance industry.

Through a variety of industry-focused and peer-led activities, you'll build real-world skills, expand your professional network, and gain meaningful experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Customer Experience

• Attend and participate in team and leader meetings.
• Experience and learn the fundamentals of TMG's operations including business strategy, profitability, and organizational structure.
• Shadow team members and experience underwriting decision-making, relationship building, and daily operations.
• Participate in intern sponsored activities and learning experiences.

• Active college student of Freshman or Sophomore standing.
• Attending an eligible four-year college or university in Iowa.
• Passion and desire to learn.
• Onsite attendance to home office (1111 Ashworth Road, WDM).
• Attend / Complete 4 Learning Sessions with Insure Your Future Committee.
• Student seeking business majors including but not limited to:
  Accounting, Administration & Management, Economics, Finance, Human Resource Management, International Business, Marketing, Real Estate, Sales, Actuary Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Journalism/Communications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey clear, concise information to others.
• Driven by positive and professional attitude and strong work ethic.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Self-disciplined, proactive, and takes ownership and responsibility.

• Competitive Pay:
  Interns earn hourly wages while gaining hands-on experience. The hourly pay range for this internship is $20-$21, commensurate with experience.
