About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Remote Aviation Safety Manager to oversee and enhance their safety management systems from anywhere. This pivotal role involves developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive safety programs to ensure compliance with all aviation regulations and to foster a proactive safety culture across the organization. You will work independently, leveraging technology to connect with teams globally, driving safety initiatives, and analyzing data to identify and mitigate risks.

• Develop, implement, and manage the organization's Safety Management System (SMS) , ensuring adherence to all relevant aviation authorities' regulations.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and audits of operational procedures and identify potential hazards.
• Investigate safety incidents and accidents, determining root causes and implementing effective corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs to employees across various departments, promoting a strong safety culture.
• Maintain safety documentation, records, and reporting systems, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to promote safety awareness and continuous improvement in all aviation activities.

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Safety Science, or a related field;
  Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in aviation safety management, with a proven track record in developing and implementing SMS programs .
• In-depth knowledge of international aviation safety regulations and best practices (e.g., ICAO, EASA, FAA).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex safety data.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with experience in remote collaboration .
• Relevant safety certifications (e.g., ISBAO, IOSA auditing) are highly desirable.
