About the RoleAt DeChant Law, our Intake Specialist is our firm’s primary driver of growth.
When people reach out to us, they are facing life-altering criminal charges. They are scared, overwhelmed, and looking for immediate, authoritative guidance. As the initial point of contact for potential clients, this position plays a crucial role in shaping the client experience, ensuring that those facing criminal charges receive immediate, compassionate guidance. Your job is to connect with them on a human level, articulate our firm's value proposition, execute a consultative sales strategy, and secure the representation agreement on the spot.
This is not a screening role where you ask a few questions and pass it to an attorney. You will conduct the sales portion of the intake process as well.
This is a fast-paced, performance-driven role designed for someone with a sales mindset and prior experience navigating the nuances of criminal defense intake. By owning the intake function, the specialist will directly contribute to the firm's mission of providing effective defense strategies. This role offers the unique opportunity to drive firm expansion by converting leads into clients and enhancing the overall client journey.
This role is not just answering phones. It is thinking about the psychology behind who is calling and developing answers to their questions before they even know what question to ask. We are proactive in our approach and aim to be the best at what we do. We are seeking curious individuals who always seek to improve and gain energy by helping others in a team environment.
WhatYou'll Do
- Drive Client Acquisition: Take ownership of all incoming leads (phone, web forms, chat, text) and manage follow-ups to convert inquiries into signed, retainer-paid clients.
- Consultative Selling & Consultation Scheduling: Conduct deep-dive intake calls, pre-qualify cases, handle price and retainer…
