The Account Leader is responsible for leading and growing strategic banking accounts across the Charlotte market. This role serves as the primary representative of Slalom's full suite of services within assigned clients, helping shape strategic direction, deliver transformative solutions, drive revenue growth, and lead high-performing teams.

The ideal candidate brings deep banking industry expertise, strong executive relationships, and a track record of helping financial institutions navigate business and technology transformation.

This is not a fully remote position. To be considered for this position, candidates must live within a commutable distance of our Charlotte location. We are hiring at the Director or Sr Director level.

What You'll Do
* Grow and expand Slalom's presence within assigned banking accounts, developing trusted relationships with key business and technology stakeholders.
* Partner with client executives to influence strategic priorities and identify opportunities where Slalom can help accelerate business outcomes.
* Leverage knowledge of the banking industry, including retail banking, commercial banking, payments, lending, risk and compliance, customer experience, and digital transformation, to provide strategic guidance and identify growth opportunities.
* Own and drive a revenue portfolio of $5M-$10M+ (dependent on level).
* Maintain a utilization target of 20-40% (dependent on level).
* Identify opportunities for growth and maturation of Slalom offerings within the banking sector and help shape future capabilities.
* Provide executive oversight and governance across all sold and managed engagements.
* Drive business development efforts, including solution positioning, scope definition, and Statement of Work (SOW) creation.
* Maintain awareness of banking market trends, regulatory considerations, competitive pressures, and emerging technologies, and translate those insights into value for clients.
* Partner across Slalom practices to deliver integrated solutions that address complex banking challenges.
* Oversee project quality assurance and successful client delivery.
* Manage and coach teams ranging from 2-10+ consultants across multiple engagements.
* Drive staffing, utilization, and professional development of team members.
* Facilitate client satisfaction and account growth initiatives.

About You
* 10+ years of account management, client leadership, or business development experience within the banking industry.
* Demonstrated experience working with large banking institutions, preferably in the Charlotte market.
* Strong understanding of banking operations, digital transformation, risk and compliance, customer experience, or related industry domains.
* Program and/or project management experience leading complex initiatives.
* Previous P&L ownership and accountability for revenue growth.
* Proven ability to build and maintain executive-level client relationships.
* Excellent negotiation, conflict management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Ability to lead cross-functional teams and navigate complex client environments.
