Job Summary:

We are seeking a Contract Management Specialist to support Portfolio Operations within a product-led organization. This role will primarily focus on managing the lifecycle of IT labor and services contracts, including new requests, change requests, renewals, extensions, purchase orders, and related financial and operational activities. Approximately 75% of the role will focus on contract management, with the remaining 25% supporting broader Portfolio Operations activities.

The consultant will work closely with Portfolio Operations, portfolio leads, sourcing teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure contract requests are complete, deadlines are proactively managed, and renewals and changes move efficiently through the contracting process. The role will support IT labor and services engagements, including managed services, fixed-bid, and time-and-material contracts. Responsibilities will also include purchase orders, invoicing, budget tracking, and maintaining accurate contract and operational information.

• 3–5 years of contract management experience, preferably supporting IT labor, IT services, or technology-related contracts
• Experience managing the contract lifecycle, including new contracts, renewals, extensions, and change requests
• Experience tracking contract expiration dates, deadlines, and renewal activities
  
  Ability to manage multiple contracts and stakeholder requests simultaneously
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong Excel skills
• Experience working with purchase orders, budgeting, financial tracking, or related operational processes
• Understanding of IT services/labor contracting concepts, including managed services, fixed-bid, and time-and-material agreements
• Demonstrated ability to proactively follow up with stakeholders and keep contract activities moving forward
• Ability to work effectively with vendors, sourcing teams, portfolio leads, and internal stakeholders

• Experience with Service Now for contract or workflow management
• Experience with Coupa or a similar procurement platform
• Experience with invoicing and purchasing processes
• Experience supporting Portfolio Operations, PMO, procurement, sourcing, or vendor management functions
• Experience with IT vendor management
• Experience tracking operating budgets and contract spend
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and timelines
• Local to the Blue Ash/Cincinnati, OH area is preferred due to potential onsite requirements upon FTE conversion
