The Frontline Support, Operations team sits at the center of Zillow’s revenue engine, partnering closely with sales, operations, and cross-functional stakeholders to build the processes, data workflows, and governance that help teams do their best work. We focus on creating accurate, scalable, and efficient systems that give sellers the visibility they need to plan effectively, manage pipeline confidently, and execute with consistency.
It’s a collaborative team for people who enjoy solving complex operational challenges, improving how work gets done, and enabling customer-facing teams through thoughtful, data-informed support.
The Senior Sales Systems Manager strengthens Zillow's revenue engine by owning the systems, data workflows, and integrations that enable sales and customer success teams to execute predictably. This role combines hands-on platform expertise, process optimization, and cross-functional coordination to ensure sellers have accurate, timely information and scalable, reliable systems built on Salesforce, Gong, and Chili Piper. You will get to:
Design and deliver cross-platform solutions that improve lead routing, scheduling, sales engagement, customer onboarding, and sales-to-customer-success handoffs. Translate business needs into technical requirements, acceptance criteria, and measurable outcomes. Configure and optimize Salesforce, Gong, including Engage and Forecast, and Chili Piper. Partner with Product and Engineering to determine when to use native capabilities, integrations, custom development, or engineering-supported solutions. Develop AI-enabled tools and customer-workflow automations that reduce manual effort and improve execution.
Connect systems through APIs and other integration patterns, with appropriate testing, access controls, and human oversight. Lead complex troubleshooting and escalated issue resolution across platforms, integrations, and data flows. Identify root causes, validate fixes, and address recurring failures rather than relying on repeated workarounds. Lead or support user acceptance testing and technical release readiness, including test planning, super-user coordination, defect management, launch recommendations, and post-launch validation.
Partner with Enablement and business leaders to support adoption. Establish sustainable production ownership through documentation, monitoring, secure credential management, deployment and recovery practices, and knowledge transfer. Ensure critical workflows can be maintained by the team rather than a single individual. Manage priorities, dependencies, and delivery commitments across stakeholders. Communicate progress and business implications clearly, surface risks early, and coordinate with partner teams on work outside the role’s ownership.
