As a Legal Relationship Manager, you’ll help law-firm clients and our Virtual Legal Professionals (VLPs) stay aligned, supported, and successful throughout their engagements. This role exists to strengthen communication, solve issues early, and keep partnerships running smoothly—while spotting sensible growth opportunities.
Key responsibilities- Act as the main point of contact for assigned clients and VLPs
- Run onboarding/kickoff calls and ongoing check-ins
- Facilitate candid conversations and resolve conflicts with sound judgment
- Track engagement health, changes, and next steps in Hub Spot
- Coordinate adjustments (hours, placements, transitions) and related updates
- Identify expansion, additional services, and referral opportunities when appropriate
- Background in legal services/law firm operations, legal staffing, or client relationship management
- Strong written/verbal communication, EQ, organization, and independent time management
- CRM proficiency (Hub Spot preferred); comfort with tools like Clio, MyCase, or Smokeball; solid remote tech skills
You’ll work fully remote within Eastern Time, carving out roughly 10 hours across the week. A typical day might start by reviewing notes from recent conversations, then hopping into a Zoom check-in to confirm what’s going well and what needs attention. Between calls, you’ll tidy up timelines and contact records, send clear follow-ups, and coordinate next touchpoints. You’ll also make time to look for patterns—where communication could be smoother, where expectations need resetting, and where a client might be ready for a thoughtful expansion conversation.
The day ends with a quick scan of open threads so nothing slips through the cracks.
