This range is provided by Cafcass (Children and Family Court Advisory and Support Service). Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

We are hiring Children’s Social Workers for our Pathfinder Team and offering £4k professional retention payments to further encourage you to join us.

Who

we’re looking for
  • A valid Social Work England membership is required.
  • You should have previous experience working with children and families in a social work capacity, ideally in child protection and assessment context.
  • Familiarity with Family Court proceedings and an understanding of Private and/or Public Law would be advantageous.
  • You should be organised and resilient, with the ability to work independently while effectively managing your workload.
  • Strong report writing skills are essential.
Responsibilities
  • Be the voice of children and young people when the family court makes critical decisions about their futures.
Location

Staffordshire, based from our Stafford office, with flexible and remote working where appropriate.
