Are you passionate about serving children and families in El Paso County? Do you have an eye for detail and a strong sense of responsibility? Are you interested in collaborating with community resources? Do you like to work independently, but also within a dynamic team? Are you ready to support those who support our families?

As a supervisor for the Ongoing/Permanency team, you will be responsible for supervising a team of social caseworkers in a general ongoing or 0-3 permanency. You will have the opportunity to support the casework team in their work as permanency caseworkers to continually assess for safety, well-being, and permanency. The supervisor can expect to lead the caseworker team in working towards safe and stable family reunification or identifying alternate permanency options in a timely fashion so that children do not languish in the system.

You will be looked to for leadership, innovation, and creative case planning to meet the ever-changing needs and dynamics of the families we serve as well as the caseworkers who serve them. In a general team you can expect to work with families struggling with substance use, domestic violence, physical abuse, and neglect. You will spend time in the courthouse, in the office, and may have the opportunity to work from home.
