Until the end of the summer term Are you a passionate and proactive Early Years professional looking for a new opportunity? We are working on behalf of a popular and welcoming Nursery School in Kettering that is seeking a confident and nurturing Childcare Practitioner to join their dedicated team. This setting supports both mainstream and SEND learners, offering a truly inclusive and caring environment.
This is a full-time role, working 5 days a week (8:30am - 4:00pm). However, strong candidates with relevant experience who are available 4 days a week will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities- Take the lead as a key worker/key person, including completing leavers reports and maintaining key paperwork.
- Build strong relationships with parents and liaise with external bodies when required.
- Contribute to the positive and engaging learning environment that supports every child's development.
- Demonstrate excellent time management to meet deadlines for reporting and paperwork.
- Be adaptable, proactive, and positive in a fast-paced and nurturing setting.
- 1 x paid working from home day included for dedicated time to complete paperwork effectively.
- Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent (essential).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective parent and external agency liaison.
- Confidence in managing time, responsibilities, and maintaining high standards of care.
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude with the ability to adapt to a busy and varied environment.
- Experience in SEND is beneficial but not essential.
