Dovedale@Moulsham is a breakfast and after school club linked to Dovedale Nursery which is run by Chelmsford College. We are looking for some dynamic and energetic people to join our expanding team at the Moulsham Infants School site on a casual basis. Qualifications not required; experience preferred but lots of opportunities to learn on the job from a very experienced team of childcare professionals.
We are looking for someone with a passion for shaping the lives of young people. At Dovedale@Moulsham we understand the unique opportunity we have to develop children's learning outside a classroom environment, giving them tools to manage social situations, learn about world topics such as discrimination, sustainability and being true to yourself in an age-appropriate way.
We care for children aged 4 years to 11 years from Moulsham Infants and Moulsham Junior School term time only. If successful you would be expected to take part in daily tasks such as taking the children to and from school, planning exciting activities, supervising and playing with children in the playground, preparing and serving meals, administering first aid (training given upon appointment), clean as you go responsibilities and observing safeguarding procedures.
There is also the opportunity to learn about and work with children with Special Educational needs (SEN).
A successful applicant will demonstrate flexibility to take on several roles and work well as part of a team. You need to have good communication skills both verbal and written. We are looking for someone with enthusiasm and willingness to get stuck in. The successful applicant will be professional, friendly, reflective and hard working.

Our opening hours allow for time during the day to attend appointments, study, perfect for pet owners, people running their own small business from home or students.
Paid for training including Paediatric First Aid, Level 2 Safeguarding, Food hygiene and Health and safety.
Hours:(Monday to Friday term time only)
Morning shift: 7am – 9am & Afternoon shift: 2.45pm- 6.30pm
There is some room for flexibility which we are happy to discuss at interview such as job share, part time, alternate shifts, and shift times to work around school/college hours.
