About the Role

Our client is seeking a reliable and engaging Nanny and Educational Support professional to assist with childcare and learning activities for their children in Pretoria. This role requires someone proactive in engaging children in educational play and activities that support their development  will be responsible for creating a fun, safe, and stimulating environment, ensuring children are well-cared for and actively learning.

This is a part-time position, offering flexibility while contributing significantly to the children's daily routine and educational enrichment in a supportive family setting.

• Engage children in age-appropriate educational activities, games, and reading to foster cognitive and language development.
• Provide attentive and responsible childcare, ensuring the safety and well-being of children.
• Assist with homework or learning tasks as needed, providing gentle guidance and support.
• Maintain a tidy and organized play and learning area, ensuring a safe environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding the child's day, activities, and any observations.

• Previous experience in childcare, nannying, or as a teaching assistant.
• Familiarity with early childhood education principles and engaging learning activities.
• Patient, responsible, and enthusiastic demeanor with a genuine affection for children.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively to balance childcare and educational engagement.
