Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, typically 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (must be flexible to meet the needs of the families; could include evening visits if needed)

The Early Head Start Home Visitor provides weekly home visits to families with children aged birth to three and expectant mothers. Home Visitors support the development of secure parent-child relationships, promote healthy child development, and work closely with families to identify goals and connect them to community resources.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct weekly 90-minute home visits with enrolled families
- Facilitate age-appropriate activities that support child development in language, motor, cognitive, and social-emotional domains
- Provide prenatal support and education to expectant families
- Partner with families to establish family goals and connect to necessary services
- Complete developmental screenings and ongoing assessments
- Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with Head Start Performance Standards
- Coordinate and facilitate socialization group experiences for families once per month
- Collaborate with supervisors and other team members for ongoing support and case management
- Required:
Home-based CDA credential or equivalent in Early Childhood Education, Social Work, or related field or willing to obtain after hire - Preferred:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Human Services, or Social Work - Experience working with infants, toddlers, and families in a home-visiting or similar role
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
- Ability to pass all required background checks
