Position
Description:
Join our team as a Supply Chain Specialist, where you will provide vital procurement services for our valued Source Blue clients and their projects. This role requires a detail-oriented individual capable of ensuring that all procurement processes are executed in accordance with contract specifications and project requirements.
Essential Duties &
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver procurement services aligned with contract documents for designated Source Blue clients and projects.
- Review contract documents, equipment, and procurement packages to guarantee compliance with specifications and drawings.
- Proactively identify, address, and resolve procurement issues in collaboration with architects, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of project budgets and ensure adherence.
- Manage project submittals and shop drawings, ensuring they meet contract specifications and resolving any conflicts in interpretation.
- Coordinate vendor meetings and preconstruction sessions to ensure clear communication and adherence to project timelines.
- Assess project scope of work documents, coordination matrices, and vendor bid packages thoroughly.
- Evaluate and level vendor bids, conducting detailed checks for technical compliance with project documents.
- Negotiate change orders with vendors and clients, documenting all agreements effectively.
- Analyze vendor requests for estimates and approvals, presenting findings to supervisors.
- Generate Purchase Orders, track vendor requirements, and communicate them to the central Source Blue team.
- Maintain and develop project reports, including budget tracking, equipment logs, and change order documentation.
- Participate in project close-out processes, verifying compliance with contract documents and preparing final records.
- Conduct site visits and vendor factory visits to gain insight into product development and application in projects.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support project success.
The salary range for this position is estimated to be $83,000.00 - $ USD annually.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Building Construction, Supply Chain, or related field, along with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- In-depth knowledge of construction products including Architectural, Mechanical, and Electrical sectors.
- Understanding of engineering principles, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, and construction accounting procedures.
- Ability to interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedules.
- Proficiency in providing accurate qualitative and quantitative analyses of project documents.
- Strong project management skills to balance competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and collaborative tools.
- Willingness to travel.
Physical Demands: The role requires physical capability to navigate construction sites, including climbing stairs and using construction personnel hoists. Employees must be able to sit, balance, reach, talk, hear, and view computer screens for extended periods. The ability to lift and move items up to 25 pounds occasionally is necessary.
Work Environment: Work may occur at construction sites with exposure to moving mechanical parts, heights, fumes, and varying weather conditions. While performing duties, noise levels can vary from moderate to loud. Office or remote work will entail a quieter environment. Compliance with company safety policies and procedures is crucial.
