Job Description:

Key Responsibilities
Project Estimation & Bidding

• Review proposal specifications, drawings, and attend pre-bid meetings to determine project scope.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates including labor, materials, and equipment.
• Submit complete bid proposals to clients and provide clarifications as needed.

Project Management & Execution

• Manage awarded projects from initiation through completion.
• Coordinate with construction managers, field teams, and subcontractors.
• Establish project objectives, schedules, and performance standards.
• Monitor subcontractor work and overall project progress.

Client Interaction & Support

• Provide professional support to clients, including planning, design, and pricing assistance.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers, agencies, and community stakeholders.

Documentation & Financial Oversight

• Maintain detailed documentation of project estimates and completed work.
• Partner with contract administrators to manage billing, payments, and collections.
• Track project costs and support forecasting for future performance.

Operations & Problem Solving

• Support construction/operations teams for efficient project execution.
• Troubleshoot issues related to materials, equipment, and project performance.

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure compliance with MSHA, OSHA, EPA, DNR, and safety regulations.
• Promote a safe and environmentally compliant work environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong project management and estimation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Strong communication and client management skills.
• Attention to detail and regulatory compliance knowledge.

Required Experience and Education

• Bachelor s degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2+ years of project management experience.
• Valid driver s license and acceptable driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with HCSS software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
