Milroy Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to join our growing Bay Area team.
This role offers a flexible schedule and weekly opportunities to work from home.

The Project Engineer supports the successful delivery of commercial and industrial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. Working closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and clients, this role helps coordinate project documentation, communication, and field operations to keep projects organized, on schedule, and moving forward. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and looking to build a long-term career in construction project management.
Key Responsibilities- Manage RFIs, submittals, and project documentation in Procore.
- Assist with project scheduling, procurement, permits, and coordination activities.
- Support field teams by coordinating inspections, tracking progress, and resolving project issues.
- Maintain accurate project records, including drawings, logs, and closeout documentation.
- Assist with estimating, budgeting, and change management processes.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders to support successful project delivery.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards.
- Build strong relationships across teams while upholding Milroy's values of integrity, innovation, and excellence.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
- 0–3 years of construction experience, including internships or co-op experience.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced construction environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $ per year
