** What We Need:
** The Black Information Network is seeking experienced anchors/reporters to provide coverage of sports at historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs). This role is ideal for a journalist who understands the culture and competitive significance of HBCU sports and can deliver compelling, high quality content to a national audience. We welcome candidates from all backgrounds who bring strong reporting skills and commitment to inclusive storytelling.
** What You'll Do:
*** Anchor HBCU sportscasts for multiple markets.
* Write clear, concise sports copy.
* Produce, edit and write content for BIN News.
* Gather audio from press conferences, live events and partner TV stations.
* Produce short-form reports (voicers/wraps) for anchors on the following shift.
* May be called on to anchor breaking news reports as needed.
** What You'll Need:
*** Familiarity with HBCU sports divisions, rivalries and culture.
* Extensive on-air background.
* Proficient in media production and broadcast systems.
* Ability to plan and organize, set priorities, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* 2+ years’ experience in on-air journalism/sports reporting.
