Social Media Content Writer

• Develop engaging and original content for various social media platforms.

• Write clear, consistent, and compelling captions, headlines, and micro-content.

• Work with designers and digital marketers to align content with visuals and campaigns.

• Stay updated on social media trends and apply relevant tactics to optimize content.

• Plan and schedule content calendars using scheduling tools.

• Monitor and analyze performance metrics and adapt content strategies accordingly.

• Collaborate with team members to brainstorm campaign ideas and storytelling themes.

• Proofread content for accuracy, clarity, tone, and brand alignment.

• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a flair for storytelling.

• Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Linked In, Twitter, Tik Tok, etc.).

• Strong understanding of social media algorithms, audience engagement, and tone variations.

• Ability to work with short-form, conversational, and persuasive writing styles.

• Knowledge of using content scheduling and social media management tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite, Later).

• 1–3 years of experience in content writing, social media marketing, or digital communications.

• Portfolio of previous social media content or campaigns is highly desirable.

• Freelance or internship experience will also be considered for exceptional candidates.
