Description

We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our Product team and help shape the next evolution of the Eventbase platform. This is a broad, end-to-end role spanning product design vision, systems design, research, and hands-on execution across our full portfolio of products. In this key position, you’ll design intuitive and engaging journeys that define the event experience and advance our mission to “Bring people together for the magic of live events.”

The ideal candidate is a proactive, strategic designer who thrives on driving work from early concept through delivery. As a core member of our product teams — collaborating with Product Management and Engineering — you’ll define elegant, scalable, and impactful experiences that balance user needs, business goals, and technical realities. Beyond product delivery, this role plays an important part in evolving our design system, team processes, and overall design culture, helping the team work with greater consistency, creativity, and craft.

This is a full-time remote position that can be based anywhere in Canada. Please note that you must already be eligible to work in Canada with valid working status to be considered for this role.

What You'll Do
  • Define and communicate a design vision and strategy that elevates the user experience, strengthens Eventbase’s premium brand offering, and aligns with product strategy and business objectives.
  • Lead end-to-end design for major product initiatives across mobile and our event management tools, from discovery through delivery in strong collaboration with Product Managers and Engineering.
  • Mentor and elevate other designers, fostering a culture grounded in creativity, collaboration, and user-centered thinking.
  • Champion design excellence across the company by advocating for the value of design in product and business outcomes.
  • Present design concepts and strategic direction to leadership, cross-functional teams, and clients with clarity and influence.
  • Maintain a focus on accessibility, performance, and usability standards, ensuring every interaction meets a high bar of quality.
  • Evolve and expand Eventbase’s design system, defining principles, patterns, and components that scale across use cases and brands.
  • Lead or collaborate on user research and usability testing to validate hypotheses and guide design decisions.
What You Bring
  • 5+ years of product design experience (with minimum 2+ on mobile apps), with a portfolio demonstrating strong UX and visual craft across mobile and web applications.
  • A proven ability to take ownership from concept to delivery, leading design work that drives measurable product and business outcomes.
  • Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, translating research and insights into intuitive, engaging, and scalable experiences.
  • Experience shaping and evolving design systems that support flexibility, consistency, and long-term maintainability.
  • Strong grasp of native iOS and Android design standards, accessibility requirements, and performance considerations.
  • Skilled at cross-functional collaboration, building trusted partnerships with Product, Engineering, Delivery teams and other stakeholders to move ideas from strategy to execution.
  • A track record of mentoring and elevating other designers, fostering growth through constructive feedback and creative empowerment.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills — able to articulate design rationale and influence at all levels of the organization.
