Overview
Graphic Designer Assistant who thrives on ideas, loves visual storytelling, and brings sharp attention to detail to everything they touch. In this role, you'll be right at the heart of the action—brainstorming alongside designers and marketers, contributing fresh concepts, and helping bring projects to life across digital, print, social media, and events. You thrive in an international environment, are highly collaborative, and feel comfortable working independently when needed.
Your creativity, adaptability, curiosity, and collaborative spirit will make you an essential part of our creative team. You will report to the Head of Marketing & Communications and work closely with two experienced designers.
- Collaborate with the Senior Graphic Designer and the Graphic Designer in developing creative graphic designs for the EAIE’s print, digital and advertising products
- Support the Designers in creating branded materials for the EAIE’s events
- Support the creation of digital content for the EAIE's social media channels and website
- Support and collaborate with the team on various campaigns and projects
- Update and maintain the internal EAIE Brand Hub
- Work experience of at least 1 to 3 years in a similar position
- Minimum MBO degree (or equivalent) in graphic or web design
- Proficiency in the latest Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
- Knowledge and/or interest in Adobe After Effects or Adobe Premiere is a plus
- Knowledge of Canva
- Understanding of design principles such as printing, typography, composition, interactive design and usability. You improve work on an aesthetic and functional level, and can easily bring ideas to life in both the digital and print platforms
- Understanding of different formats for printing and web
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- A valid work permit and already living in the Netherlands and prepared to travel to the office in Amsterdam at least once per week

- Salary: starting full–time salary of €2,890 - €3,110 gross per month, depending on education/work experience. Availability for 4 or 5 days a week. A twelve-month initial contract with the expectation of extension. Preferably available to start as soon as possible.
- Work where you thrive: we work hybrid, one or two days a week in the office. We cover your working-from-home costs with a monthly net allowance of €52.
