Intern Documentary & Impact production

Overview

Worldvisuals Film is an international award-winning production company based in the Netherlands and South Africa. Our films have been selected for hundreds of international film festivals and have won numerous awards worldwide. As of 15 February 2026 we are looking for an intern for a period of 4 – 5 months (3 or 4 days per week). You will assist in the development and execution of various international documentary projects for Worldvisuals Film in the Netherlands and South Africa.

• A hands-on internship within an impact production company.
• Direct involvement in international documentary projects in both the Netherlands and South Africa.
• Insight into the full filmmaking process: from research and development to production, festivals, distribution and impact.
• A high level of responsibility and creative input — you are treated as part of the team, not as an assistant on the sidelines.
• A flexible, partly remote working environment, with room for your own initiative and ideas.

Amsterdam

You are expected to fully participate in the development and production process to experience and learn about the film process, from research to distribution. It’s a challenging job with responsibilities.

This includes:

• Assisting in the research of new projects.
• Production assistance during film shoots.
• Film festival coordination.
• Establish and maintain contacts with other film professionals, film festivals, and media organizations.
• Assist in the coordination of impact programs.

• Preferably living in Amsterdam and its near surroundings.
• You possess fluent proficiency in both Spanish and English encompassing speaking, reading, and writing skills. Preferably, you are native Spanish-speaking.
• HBO/WO: communication, film, media or business.
• Strong writing skills.
• Entrepreneurial skills.
• Well known with social media.
• Proactive, eager to learn.
• Able to work independently and remotely.
