Remote Technical Designer

In this role, you will play a crucial part in the development process from concept to production. You will create detailed technical packages that ensure fit and construction adhere to brand standards while keeping cross‑functional teams informed. Your contributions will directly influence product quality and team collaboration, and you will be part of a dynamic group that promotes a fun and inclusive work environment.

• Translate design concepts into detailed technical design packages in Centric PLM.
• Review fit samples and maintain organized records of comments and approvals.
• Support and participate in live model and form fit sessions; document feedback and suggested changes.
• Communicate fit and construction revisions through updated patterns, sketches, photos, or re‑draped samples.
• Ensure all fit session notes and updates are accurately entered into PLM in a timely manner.
• Provide input on garment construction and its impact on fit, comfort, and durability.
• Apply knowledge of industry safety standards to ensure compliance in product development.
• Collaborate with design, product development, and sourcing partners to resolve technical issues.

• 4-6 years of related technical design experience.
• Prior experience in women's woven tops and bottoms strongly preferred.
• Strong measuring skills and basic knowledge of grading principles.
• Understanding of fit, pattern corrections, and garment construction.
• Familiarity with applicable industry safety standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Design, Fashion Design, or a related field preferred.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, PLM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Workspace.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross‑functional and overseas partners.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Detail‑oriented approach with the ability to see the bigger picture and contribute to team goals.
