Linkbuilding Content Writer

A1 SEO is a fast-growing search engine optimisation agency based in Glasgow. We specialise in no-nonsense SEO campaigns that deliver robust, long-term results for our clients.

We are looking for a Link building Copywriter to join our growing Link building Team.

This role focuses on producing high-volume, high-quality articles used for SEO link building campaigns across a wide range of industries. You’ll be writing content for outreach placements on external websites rather than on-site client pages, meaning huge topic variety and no repetitive day-to-day writing.

full-time, remote contractor role (40 hours per week), offering the opportunity to develop your SEO and link building skills within a structured, supportive team.

Position based in South Africa, working for a UK-based company. Please note that we are not offering relocation opportunities or visa sponsorship.

• Strong writing and editing skills (portfolio required)
• Ability to write clearly, naturally and convincingly across many topics
• At least 1–2 years of professional writing experience
• Comfortable using AI writing tools (e.g. ChatGPT) and editing output to sound natural and human
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet client briefs
• Ability to work at pace and meet tight deadlines
• Strong research skills and ability to adapt tone for different niches
• Receptive to feedback and willing to improve continuously
• Reliable laptop and strong, stable WiFi connection

SEO or link building experience is beneficial but not essential; training will be provided.

• Generate high-quality link building articles across a wide range of industries, including (but not limited to): sports, interior design, travel, finance, medicine and psychology
• Use AI tools to assist with drafting content, then thoroughly edit to ensure:
• Natural, human-readable language
• Compliance with client requirements
• Successful passage through plagiarism detection tools (e.g. Copyleaks)
• Follow client briefs carefully, ensuring correct anchor usage, structure and tone
• Manage daily workload efficiently to meet deadlines

• R15k–R16k monthly salary
