This is a temporary freelance role for a Copywriter based in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area, ON, with hybrid work flexibility (partial remote work). As a Freelance Copywriter, you will create compelling copy for various communication channels such as websites, newsletters, social media, and reports. Your responsibilities include generating engaging content, proofreading materials, developing creative marketing campaigns, and tailoring messaging that aligns with strategic goals.

Collaborating with internal teams, you will ensure that written materials resonate with diverse audiences and amplify the mission of the organization.

• Strong expertise in Copywriting, Creative Writing, and Editing
• Proficiency in Content Strategy, Digital Marketing, and Social Media Copy creation
• Research and Analytical skills to understand audience preferences and craft targeted messaging
• Attention to detail with experience in Proofreading and producing error-free content
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently in a hybrid work environment
• Exceptional communication and storytelling skills to convey complex ideas effectively
• Background in mental health, workplace wellness, or similar fields is an asset
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, English, or a related field
