What You'll Be Doing

Join the CIBC Media Centre as a Summer Co-Op Production Specialist. In this role, you’ll rotate through key media production areas—including studio broadcasts, video production, podcasting, photography, editing, and administrative support. You’ll gain hands‑on experience, develop core production skills, and contribute to a range of professional projects in a fast‑paced, executive‑facing environment.

  • You must be currently enrolled in post‑secondary education and returning to full‑time studies to be eligible. However, you do not need to be in a registered Co‑Op program to be considered for a role.

How You’ll Succeed
  • Media Production Support – Assists with camera operation, lighting setups, and live or recorded video shoots for studio broadcasts and video production; supports podcast production through audio recording, basic editing, and content organization and helps with photo shoots, equipment setup, and post‑production tasks.
  • Strong Communication Skills – Interacts professionally with executives, team members, and talent.
  • Adaptability – Comfortable adjusting to changing schedules, tasks, and priorities.
  • Problem‑Solving Skills – Assesses situations, troubleshoots minor technical or logistical issues, and seeks help when needed.
  • Discretion and Confidentiality – Understands the importance of privacy, especially around executives and sensitive projects.
