DescriptionThe Graphic Designer is responsible for creating and executing design solutions for both in‑store and print channels, delivering a cohesive and elevated client experience s role reports to the Manager of In‑Store & Print and collaborates closely with Designers, Production Designers, Writers, Photographers, and Stylists, as well as broader One Creative Team and cross‑functional teams including Merchandising, Integrated Marketing, and Member Marketing.
The ideal candidate has retail experience and a strong eye for creating impactful, large‑scale visual solutions that maintain brand consistency across multiple touchpoints. They excel at translating complex information into clean, clear design with strong hierarchy and refined aesthetics that align with brand standards. This role requires both creative and production capabilities—balancing big‑picture thinking with executional excellence. The right candidate is a self‑starter who is organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for success in this highly cross‑functional role.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Implement the client identity into everything we design across in‑store and print touchpoints, ensuring consistency in every page, campaign, and communication
- Design for large‑scale retail environments, including signage, displays, and other in‑store assets, while maintaining brand integrity
- Work within brand standards and consistently apply the design system (Palette) to create a seamless and consistent guest experience with an omni‑channel lens
- Demonstrate an elevated taste level and the ability to create visually stunning designs with strong typography and layout hierarchy
- Partner closely with the Studio, Creative Ops, and the larger Creative Design Team to ensure cohesion of all brand and campaign elements
- Provide clear vision and actionable direction to the Studio for each page or store asset, collaborating closely with the Senior Stylist and Brand team
- Build press‑ready files quickly and accurately, maintaining efficiency and attention to detail under tight timelines
- Balance several work streams and prioritize deliverables to meet deadlines with high‑quality design
- Excellent interpersonal skills across both creative and business departments
- Be responsive to ever‑changing business needs that support the overall brand
- Using:
Shopper Marketing and/or Commerce Marketing
- 4‑year college degree in design, bachelor’s or related field and/or equivalent experience
- 3 years of relevant professional experience in graphic design, preferably in retail or beauty
- A passion for client, its products, and its guests
- Strong creative portfolio demonstrating expertise in photo art direction, typography, and brand design, experience in both in‑store and print environments is highly desirable
- Excellent eye for detail; demonstrates creative and innovative problem‑solving
- Intermediate‑level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present work and collaborate across teams
- Ability to think strategically, critically, and creatively
- Self‑motivated, action‑oriented, and highly organized, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively
