Design Internship

About the Role

This is a remote internship role for a Visual Design Intern. You will assist in brand identity and communication design projects, conduct visual and cultural research, create assets, and explore design systems that bring the brand’s voice to life. You’ll collaborate with the team to craft compelling narratives through visuals, typography, layout, and motion.

Key Responsibilities About the Role

- Design visual assets for digital and print communication (website, brand, packaging, etc.)
- Research on design trends, cultural insights, and competitor brands
- Translate brand values into consistent design language across touchpoints
- Explore motion/animation to enhance brand storytelling
- Collaborate with the team to ensure clarity, creativity, and consistency in communication design

Qualifications

- Proficiency in visual communication and design fundamentals (typography, color, layout, systems thinking)
- Ability to create and adapt graphics across formats and mediums
- Familiarity with animation/motion graphics is a plus
- Proficiency with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects) or similar tools
- Strong research and analytical skills to translate insights into design
- Attention to detail, creativity, and storytelling ability
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Enthusiastic about building a brand from the ground up
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communication Design, Graphic Design, or related field
