Video Editors for the "Sport & Migration" Exhibition Project

Butterfly by Yusra Mardini e.V. is looking for creative video editors who are ready to edit videos for the project for approximately two months (March/April).

The Sport & Migration exhibition project is shifting into high gear! With nearly 50 partner organizations on board, we have dozens of inspiring stories ready to take the podium. To meet this major challenge, we are scouting our Official Selection: a collective of 5 creative volunteers ready to champion the project’s colors for two months.

• Duration: 2 months (8 weeks).
• Mission Starts:
  March.
• Commitment:
  Approximately 4 hours per week.
• Mission:
  Editing at least 8 short videos.
• Context:
  An international project showcased both physically and digitally.
• Final date to receive applications:
  February 20th.
• Unpaid position

As the front line of post-production, you will be responsible for scoring the final goal. Your technical talent will provide a powerful visual identity to NGO testimonials, creating a final result that impacts and mobilizes viewers every second.

• Editing & Pacing:
  Assembling sequences and creating thematic transitions.
• Motion Graphics:
  Adding subtitles, logos, and lower thirds.
• Sound:
  Mixing music and voice-overs.
• Creative Signature:
  Bringing an original artistic touch to give soul and visual unity to the entire series.
• You are proficient in professional editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent).
• You are comfortable in French and/or English.
• You want to put your technical skills at the service of a human and sporting cause.
• You enjoy remote teamwork, and you are autonomous and collaborative!
