This is a hybrid contract role for a Fashion Writer & Editor based in Toronto, ON, with opportunities for partial remote work. The Fashion Writer & Editor will craft compelling and engaging editorial content, write trend-driven articles, and collaborate with the team to develop creative concepts. Daily tasks include conducting industry research, curating relevant fashion content, editing and proofreading written material, and analyzing fashion trends to support My Dress Edit ’s mission of empowering professional women through refined style.

• Strong writing, editorial, and creative storytelling skills, with experience in Fashion Writing
• Expertise in Content Editing, Proofreading, and Copy Optimization
• Knowledge of Fashion Industry trends, Brand Voice, and Market Research
• Ability to develop Content Strategy and plan editorial calendars
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills
• Proficiency in using digital tools for research, collaboration, and content publishing
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Fashion Studies, or relevant field
• Previous experience in fashion editorial roles is an asset
