Job Summary

The Senior Communications Specialist plays a critical role in shaping, developing, and delivering clear, engaging, and visually compelling communications across large‑scale, global initiatives. This role requires a seasoned communicator who can collaborate across diverse work streams, translate complex information into accessible messaging, and produce polished deliverables that support change management and business adoption efforts. Expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint, visual design, and exceptional writing are essential.

Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud is strongly preferred.

Requirements
  • Extensive experience communicating across all levels of an organization, including senior executives.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver high‑impact communications and slide decks for global or enterprise‑level projects.
  • Experience working in agile environments, managing multiple priorities, and operating independently to meet deadlines.
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences and channels.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to producing consistent, high‑quality work.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to think clearly and strategically.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Planner, etc.).
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with internal collaboration platforms (e.g., Viva Engage) is beneficial.
  • Global pharmaceutical experience preferred.
  • Availability to begin work at 8:00 AM EST to support collaboration with European teams.
Responsibilities
  • Partner with project teams to plan and execute cohesive communication and change management activities across multiple work streams.
  • Translate meeting content and complex information into clear, visually engaging slide decks and communication materials.
  • Develop a wide range of communication deliverables, including emails, e‑signs/posters, infographics, newsletters, videos, and other formats as needed.
  • Ensure all messaging aligns with program themes, emphasizes key benefits, and clearly communicates "what's in it for me" to target audiences.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to draft announcements, newsletters, and other communications, managing review cycles to meet deadlines.
  • Maintain and manage communication distribution lists to ensure accurate and targeted outreach.
  • Provide communication guidance to change networks and support feedback mechanisms such as surveys.
  • Oversee content and updates for internal SharePoint Online sites, ensuring information is current, accessible, and well‑organized.
  • Support the development of communication materials for internal and external audiences, ensuring high‑quality, visually compelling outputs.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with graphic design tools and best practices for creating effective communication materials (PowerPoint decks, infographics, e‑signs, etc.).
  • Ability to balance creativity with clarity, ensuring communications are both visually appealing and strategically aligned.

Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 per year
