What you’re applying for

Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, your main responsibilities will include planning and executing content strategies across various social media platforms, building and nurturing relationships with our online community, and helping to drive customer acquisition.

This is a fully remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute content strategies that align with the company’s objectives, reflect the brand’s tone and voice, and resonate with target audiences
• Create and edit videos, some of which will feature you on camera to represent the brand.
• Design and write content for social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Tik Tok, Linked In and You Tube
• Respond to comments, questions, and complaints on social media to maintain a positive brand reputation and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Build and maintain relationships with the brand's social media followers, engaging with them in a positive and authentic way to foster community and brand loyalty.
• Stay up to date on social media trends, digital technologies, and best practices to continuously improve strategy and content.
• Contribute to brainstorming sessions to develop advertising concepts and taglines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, New Media or a relevant field
• 2+ years of experience in content creation and social media (ideally in the travel industry)
• Proven experience in video creation, including filming, editing, and storytelling for digital platforms
• Comfortable being front-facing on camera and representing the brand in video content
• Excellent copywriting skills, with proficiency in both French and English
• A passion for travelling and exploring different cultures and countries, with knowledge of travel trends, popular destinations, and travel-related topics
• An obsession with creating impactful social media and video content is a must
• Expertise and knowledge of best practices for social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Tik Tok, You Tube, Twitter and Linked In
• Proficiency in MS Office, design and editing software (e.g. Canva, Figma, Cap Cut)
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills
