• Compensation: $15 - $18 per hour based on location, experience, responsibilities, and performance.

Role Overview: We are hiring on behalf of one of our clients, a leading global player in the AI space. This remote, part‑time contract role is dedicated to the art of storytelling. You will act as a creative coach for AI models, providing high‑quality examples of fiction, poetry, and screenplay writing. Your goal is to help the AI move beyond factual reporting and master the nuances of plot, character voice, emotion, and stylistic flair.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compose original, high‑quality creative pieces across various genres (e.g., sci‑fi, romance, mystery) and formats (short stories, scripts, poems).
• Review and grade AI‑generated stories for narrative structure, character consistency, emotional impact, and originality.
• Rewrite "flat" or cliché AI responses to inject vivid imagery, natural dialogue, and distinct stylistic voice.
• Develop complex creative prompts to test the model’s ability to handle constraints (e.g., "Write a story without using the letter ‘e’" or "Write a sonnet about a toaster").
• Analyze the AI's ability to maintain tone and pacing throughout longer narrative arcs and identify where it loses coherence.

Qualifications:

• Proven background in Creative Writing, English Literature, Screenwriting, or Playwriting (a creative portfolio is highly preferred).
• Deep understanding of narrative elements such as plot structure, pacing, character development, and "showing, not telling."
• Exceptional command of English with a rich vocabulary and the ability to write in various distinct voices and styles.
• Ability to provide objective, constructive feedback on subjective artistic elements.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment, managing time across multiple projects.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Rate: Earn up to $18 USD/hr (Rates vary based on project complexity and expertise).
• Flexibility: 100% remote with no fixed schedule. Contributors typically spend 5–10 hours per week, with the option to work up to 40 hours.
