Senior Graphic Designer - TERM
Who is a Senior Graphic Designer?
The Senior Graphic Designer role is responsible for working collaboratively within the Brand & Creative Teams to produce high-quality internal and external marketing initiatives, ensuring that brand standards are met across all projects and deliverables assigned to them. They are responsible for communicating with internal teams within the Marketing Department, as well as external vendors, to implement final creative. This role also acts as an advocate for all Designer roles within the Creative Services Team by collaborating with the Creative Services Manager on process and strategy initiatives and providing mentorship and technical support when needed.
What will you be doing?
- Executes high-quality creative design in both traditional and digital mediums, while ensuring brand standards are met, to relay marketing campaigns, awareness initiatives, and internal communications in a consistent and effective manner.
- Interprets feedback provided by the Creative Services Manager and stakeholders and implements revisions to ensure final product is accurate and consistent with all portfolios within the brand.
- Interprets direction derived from both formal and informal marketing briefs and requests from concept to completion to ensure all project requirements are met.
- Identifies and communicates any gaps in requirements that prevent them from moving forward
- Identifies areas for improvement in requests and offer suggestions or solutions
- Prepares and sends final print and digital design files to external vendors and internal teams to be executed and distributed
- Mentors and provides technical support to Junior Graphic Designers, Graphic Designers, and contracted freelance Designers, as needed
- Collaborates with Creative Services Manager on overarching creative strategy and high-level process improvement initiatives as an advocate for all Designers
Do you have what it takes?
- University or college diploma in graphic design, interactive media, or related field
- 4+ years in a B2C creative work environment
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge and understanding of print and digital design production and communication
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Thorough knowledge of design and brand development

Compensation:
It is expected that the selected candidate will start at a base salary of $56,000. This position is eligible for bonuses in addition to the base salary. The annual range of expected compensation for the position is $56,000 - $72,000 determined by performance, time in the position and variable compensation earned.This job posting is for an existing vacancy.
