Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Remote Resume Writer to join our team. This role is perfect for someone with strong writing skills and a passion for helping individuals present their professional experiences effectively. While prior resume writing experience is a plus, it is not required; we provide comprehensive training to bring you up to speed. Additionally, a background in social media can be beneficial, as there may be other opportunities within the organization, but it is not a requirement.

Responsibilities
  • Resume Development:
    Create personalized resumes based on client submitted information, including work history, skills, and career objectives.
  • Content Optimization:
    Utilize industry best practices to enhance resumes with keywords that improve visibility to applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Research:
    Stay updated on industry trends and resume writing standards to ensure all materials are relevant and effective.
  • Editing and Proofreading:
    Edit client submissions for clarity, grammar, and overall professionalism, ensuring a polished final product.
  • Style Customization:
    Adapt resumes to reflect the personal brand of each client, aligning with their career goals and target industries.
  • Project Management:
    Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of completed resumes and other key deliverables.
  • Feedback Implementation:
    Incorporate any client feedback received via email or other written communication into revised drafts.
Compensation
  • Pay ranges from $15 to $25 per hour, depending on experience level.
  • $500 retention bonus after 6 months and $1,000 after 1 year.
