Simon, an independent creative agency, is seeking a Multicultural Content Strategist and Copywriter to manage writing for a performance marketing client with a significant Hispanic audience. This role involves writing original copy in both English and Spanish, developing culturally grounded messaging strategies, and collaborating with art directors and media partners. The role includes brand-level concepting, campaign development, and high-volume executional work across every channel.
The agency is also using AI to supercharge creativity.
- Lead through work quality, shaping creative direction.
- Write original copy in both English and Spanish with cultural nuance.
- Understand Hispanic audiences and can write authentically across different cultural contexts.
- Think brand-first in a performance-driven environment.
- Comfortable writing across all formats: broadcast, video, audio, OOH, digital, CRM, web, social, and print.
- Understand and write for brand-level messaging, regional campaigns, and localized executions.
- Can navigate brand guidelines, legal requirements, and offer-driven messaging.
- Are a systems thinker who builds scalable writing frameworks.
- Want to concept with art directors.
- Own all copywriting for a major client in English and Spanish.
- Drive multicultural strategy across campaigns.
- Translate client goals into multicultural briefs.
- Collaborate with media partners on multicultural plans.
- Develop strategic messaging platforms across channels.
- Write across all media: broadcast scripts, video, audio, OOH, digital display, CRM, web, and social.
- Navigate technical writing requirements.
- Partner with art directors on concepting.
- Build scalable writing frameworks.
- Oversee multicultural projects and communication.
- Collaborate with the Head of Creative Technology to automate copy tasks.
- 7+ years of copywriting experience in an agency environment.
- Fluent bilingual writer (English/Spanish).
- Deep understanding of U.S. Hispanic markets.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating brand/campaign-level and executional writing.
- Experience writing across multiple channels.
- Comfort with technical writing.
- Systems-minded approach to writing.
- Self-directed with strong editorial judgment.
- Excellent collaboration skills.
- Actively using AI tools.
- Must be available to work standard PST hours.
- You've led transcreation efforts.
- You've navigated writing for Spanish‑dominant vs. bilingual vs. English‑preferred Hispanic audiences.
- You've worked on accounts with multi‑brand portfolios.
- You can show real examples of how AI has changed the way you work.
