This is for a Publicist. We are looking for a highly driven and enthusiastic candidate with exceptional written and verbal communication skills. They must be detail-oriented and resourceful, with the ability to multi-task and the capacity to think on their feet in a fast-paced environment. As the position is predominantly remote, the candidate must be able to work independently and be productive without supervision, while maintaining open communication with supervisors and collaborating with the wider team across a variety of accounts.

Full-time Contract Publicist to support international and domestic entertainment clients.
LocationLos Angeles (remote/work from home but must be able to travel domestically and internationally and attend junkets and events in person as needed).
Initial Contract1 year, with opportunity for permanent employment.
Responsibilities include- Leading and supporting as needed on comprehensive global publicity campaigns for television series.
- Working with the team on specific day-to-day tasks including attending client meetings, scheduling and facilitating talent interviews, asset management (e.g. transcripts, photography, synopses, promo, EPK materials), correspondence with talent reps, reporting, etc.
- Planning and executing campaign beats including global press tours with talent, talent participation in premiere events and regional press screenings, set visits, press junkets, etc.
- Writing and distributing press releases and assets.
- Providing on-site support at press events including but not limited to screenings, junkets, red carpets, media tours, festivals, etc.
- Coordinating publicity opportunities with talent both in the U.S. and overseas.
- Compiling and reviewing coverage reports and highlights on a daily and weekly basis for publicity campaigns and promotional activities.
- Minimum 3-5 years of publicity experience in domestic/international television or film, studio and/or network experience.
- Valid passport and clearance for international travel. Must be willing and able to attend press days, premieres, and other events, some of which may be outside of regular work hours, without additional compensation.
- Excellent writing skills. Familiarity with AP Stylebook a plus. All candidates must provide at least two writing samples (press releases, production notes, essays, press articles, etc.).
- Impeccable professional conduct and experience liaising with talent, talent representatives, producers, filmmakers, executives, and media.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Numbers, Pages, Google Workspace. Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and, Canva, proficiency in a secondary language a plus.
- Ability to adhere to a high level of confidentiality. The position will require legally-binding NDAs.
- Must be able to work independently and balance a high-volume workload. Candidates must excel at multitasking, pay attention to detail, and be highly organized.
- Must be willing to challenge themselves to exceed expectations and continuously seek opportunities for development and growth.
- Must be a team player and maintain a personable demeanor under pressure.
- Minimum BS or BA degree or comparable work experience. Public Relations, Communications, or relevant major preferred.
