We are sharing a specialised remote opportunity for experienced Film and Video Editors to support a leading AI lab in improving how advanced AI systems understand real-world video production and editing workflows.
This project focuses on designing domain-specific scenarios, reviewing AI-generated outputs, and contributing professional insights to improve AI reasoning in video editing and post-production processes.

• Create domain‑specific tasks and deliverables based on real‑world video editing and post‑production scenarios
• Evaluate AI‑generated responses for accuracy, clarity, and relevance to editing workflows
• Review peer‑developed deliverables to improve quality and consistency
• Identify gaps or inaccuracies in AI reasoning related to video production processes
• Provide structured feedback to improve AI understanding of editing and post‑production workflows
• Apply consistent evaluation frameworks to produce high‑quality review outputs

• 4+ years of professional experience as a Film or Video Editor
• Experience working with professional video editing software and post‑production tools
• Strong understanding of editing workflows, storytelling, pacing, and visual continuity
• Excellent written communication with strong grammar and spelling skills
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Ability to translate real‑world editing scenarios into structured evaluation tasks

• Experience with professional editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
• Experience working in film production, digital media, or content creation
• Familiarity with structured evaluation frameworks or research workflows

• Contribute professional expertise to frontier AI research projects
• Help improve how AI systems understand video editing and media production workflows

• Independent contractor role
• Fully remote and flexible scheduling
