We are sharing a specialised remote opportunity for Art experts to contribute their knowledge to a large‑scale AI training initiative focused on improving visual analysis, artistic interpretation, and creative reasoning in advanced AI models.
This project supports a leading AI research lab working to strengthen how language models understand art history, visual aesthetics, stylistic analysis, and cultural interpretation.

, designed for individuals who actively engage with art within their linguistic and cultural context. Experts will contribute by creating art‑related prompts, evaluating AI‑generated responses, and producing high‑quality human‑authored explanations grounded in artistic knowledge and cultural nuance.
- Author art‑related prompts covering art history, visual analysis, stylistic comparison, critique, and interpretation
- Evaluate AI‑generated responses for accuracy, nuance, and cultural authenticity
- Produce high‑quality human‑authored gold responses for complex art‑related questions
- Develop prompt variations exploring differences in artistic style, medium, historical period, or cultural framing
- Assess outputs across various formats, tones, and instruction constraints
- Identify model failure cases involving misattribution, weak stylistic reasoning, or culturally inaccurate interpretations
- Strong candidates may have:
- 2+ years of sustained engagement with art through practice, study, criticism, or creative work
- Experience creating art, studying art history, writing critiques, participating in exhibitions, or contributing to artist communities
- Active engagement with art discourse in at least one of the following languages:
- Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, Russian, German, Arabic, Thai, Tamil, or Hindi
- Strong familiarity with artistic terminology, movements, techniques, and regional artistic traditions
- Ability to analyse and articulate visual concepts clearly and thoughtfully
- Excellent written communication skills in the target language
- Ability to work independently and make careful editorial judgments
- Background in art history, fine arts, visual studies, or related disciplines
- Experience curating, critiquing, teaching, or publishing about art
- Deep familiarity with regional artistic communities or movements
- Contribute artistic expertise to frontier AI research projects
- Help improve how AI systems interpret visual culture, artistic techniques, and historical context
- Work on creative and analytical tasks related to art and visual interpretation
- Flexible remote engagement with competitive hourly compensation
Independent contractor role
Fully remote with flexible scheduling
Expected commitment: approximately 10–40 hours per week
Weekly payments via Stripe or Wise
Projects may be extended or adjusted depending on performance and project needs
